Joilson Lima da Silva

Also known as Ranny Lee Joy, dancer and teacher educated by the School of Dance at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), he specialized in Afro-Brazilian Dance and Modern Dance. He was a soloist dancer at the Ballet Folclorico of Bahia for 8 years, worked with several Brazilian artists such as Daniela Mercury, Motumbá, Araketu and Olodum, and international stars like Julio Iglesias and Michael Jackson. Silva worked as a dancer, dance captain and fight captain of director Julie Taymor’s Broadway musical The Lion King productions in the Netherlands (2004-2006), France (2008-2010) and Singapore (2011) and worked for Hans Klok productions in Huriccane Tour (2009-2010). He is a founding member of WKcollective.
