Théodora Valente

Successive First place award winner in the France’s nationaux et régionaux du Conccours de la Confédération Nationale de Danse (national and regional Competition of the Confederation of National Dance) (2000-03) Valente studies include intensive training in ballet, jazz and contemporary dance in Guadeloupe, Cuba and France.  She has also studied at the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, New York with a concentration in ballet, jazz, African dance, improvisation, vocal and acting training.  Based in Paris her performance journey includes swing and ensemble dancer in Julie Taymor’s Broadway musical Le Roi Lion (The Lion King) at Théâtre Mogador, Opérette Magdalena Théâtre du Châtelet, Booba concert at Bércy, and performing in the ensemble of the newly celebrated musical, Adam et Eve, la second chance (Adam and Eve, the second chance) at the Palais des Sports under the direction of French director Pascal Obispo and Los Angeles choreographer Tokyo. She is a founding company member of WKcollective.
